North Jakarta Intensifies Socialization Regarding Health Protocols in Restaurants

North Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-agency intensifies socialization about COVID-19 health protocols to the restaurant owners and managers.

From restaurants that we have visited, the owners and managers already understand about the regulations

North Jakarta Parekraf Sub-agency Head, Wiwik Satriani mentioned, socialization is carried out in stages until June 18 while monitoring all restaurants in 6 sub-districts.

Not only socializing health protocols, her side also requires restaurant owners or managers to sign integrity pacts as their commitment to comply with regulations in transitional PSBB period.

"From Sunday (6/7), we have socialized it to 14 restaurants and bistros in Kelapa Gading and Tanjung Priok Sub-districts," she conveyed, Monday (6/8).

During transitional PSBB period, restaurants can only be filled up to 50 percent of total restaurants capacity. Her side also explained about 24-hour food delivery system; on-site dining which limited up to 00:00; usage of masks, face shield, and gloves; body temperature checking; as well as providing hand washing facilities and hand sanitizer.

"From restaurants that we have visited, the owners and managers already understand about the regulations. Some of them prepare additional equipment," he explained.

Regarding integrity pacts, she continued, her side will impose sanctions on restaurants that don't comply with health protocols .

"We will put it in their restaurant. Later on , Satpol PP will monitor and enforce the regulations on the field," she said.
